Orlando trip
For those of you who are traveling to the land of Mickey and Minnie, there are some really good caches in that area. I was just down there a couple of weeks ago and had the time of my life. I loaded the Nuvi up with about 42 or so regular, somewhat easy caches. I ended up doing 21 of them. One of my favorites was called "Have You Seen My Mother." When I drove up to gz, I heard "Hi, I'm mom!" I turned to see a nice lady with a big smile on her face. We exchanged pleasantries and went our separate ways. I started to look for the cache in one area and heard " You're getting colder!" I turned and started walking in another direction and heard " You're warmer!" I finally found an ammo can, signed the log and was on my way. It was fun!!
Another cache I did involved a webcam in Winter Park. I called my friend back in Ohio and he saw me on the computer and took the picture. He said he could see me moving every which way and the traffic behind me. Pretty cool!!
The Orlando area has quite a few travel bug hotels and resorts. It's a good place to move your trackables around. After reading some of the logs, I noticed that cachers from all over the world come to Orlando to move their tbs and geocoins. After I dropped a few off, were they being moved even before I logged them in.
I highly recommend,if you are traveling to the Orlando area, that you take a day or 2 and do some caching. You'll be glad you did!!

Are you ever planning on heading back down there?

No, I don't plan on going back in the immediate future. I do have other trips in the works for next year

Re: Orlando trip
I'll vouch for some of the caches down that-a-way. My wife is the Planetarium Lecturer at YSU, and she went to a seminar at Cape Canaveral, in Florida. I was able to get the week off, so I went, too. I spent the day thrashing through the palmetto plants while she was sitting in air conditioned comfort, and we had supper and our evenings together.
Everybody was happy!
